Most yellow cards in the Premier League 2026/27: live top 10
Bookings decide suspensions, shape game plans and, for a lot of people, settle bets. This is the live Premier League top 10 for yellow cards this season, with the fouls behind them and the fouls-per-card figure that separates the persistent foulers from the players who get booked for one bad moment a game.
Right now. Jacob Murphy leads on 3 yellow cards, level with Matt Crooks. New to the 10 since the last change: Ola Aina. Biggest climber: Vitaly Janelt, up 1 place to 6th.

What the numbers mean
Yellow cards are the discipline stat everyone checks before a big game, for suspensions and for who can be wound up. The count on its own says little about why: some players are booked for persistent fouling, some for one late lunge a match, some for talking.
The bars put each player against every Premier League outfield player with 90 minutes and a booking: cards per 90 for the rate, fouls per 90 for how much he fouls, fouls per card for how often a foul becomes a booking, and tackles won per 90 for whether the cards come from competing. A full bar means the top of that group, and for fouls per card the bar is reversed, so a full bar means the fewest fouls before a booking.
The list rebuilds every night from the latest matches, so it will move as the season goes on. The date on each card says when it last changed.

Does a second yellow count?
A second yellow that becomes a red counts as a yellow here, and the red is shown in the table. Straight reds are not yellows and appear only in the red column.
What is fouls per card?
Fouls committed divided by yellow cards. A low number means the player is booked for almost every foul he gives away, which usually means late challenges or dissent; a high number means he fouls often but rarely badly.
How often does it update?
Every night, from the latest matches. The order, the cards and the table rebuild together, and the date on each card says when the list last changed.
Reading the list
Cards per 90 is the fairer rate, and fouls per card is the character line. A player with 4 yellows from 8 fouls is reckless or mouthy; one with 4 yellows from 30 fouls is doing a job and paying the tax. The reds column matters for suspensions, and the minutes column shows who has done it in fewer games. Each name opens a full FDscout profile.
